As we approach the end of 2025, we’re excited to launch a new tradition: the inaugural CaRCC Contributor of the Year Award. This annual recognition will honor someone who has gone above and beyond in their service and commitment to CaRCC’s activities and mission.
Who should you nominate?
For this first-ever award, we’re looking for contributors who exemplify our strong community values through their dedication, collaboration, and impact. Your nominee might be someone who:
- Consistently contributes to working groups, committees, or special initiatives
- Mentors newcomers to the RCD profession
- Organizes community events or educational opportunities
- Champions inclusivity and connection across our diverse membership
- Innovates new ways to advance CaRCC’s mission
Nominees can be involved in CaRCC in any capacity but cannot be current members of the CaRCC Transitional Board.
How does the selection process work?
After nominations close, we’ll contact all nominees to confirm they wish to accept their nomination. Accepted nominations will then be shared publicly with the community for a final vote. The winner of our inaugural award will be announced at the Annual Year-End Party on December 11.
