AI Unlocked: Empowering Higher Education through Research and Discovery — June 2–3 in Denver, CO.Sponsored by ACCESS, NAIRR Pilot, and the University of Colorado Boulder, this free event brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners to explore cutting-edge applications of AI across research and education. Features three simultaneous session rooms accommodating different tracks and experience levels. NAIRR Pilot Classroom Expansion Conference — Research-Emerging Institutions with Large Computing Programs — June 18–19 in Orlando, FL. This in-person conference at the Embassy Suites–Downtown Orlando is part of a series led by CRA in collaboration with Northern Kentucky University, Texas State, and Kennesaw State. It features keynote presentations, workshops, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and structured networking focused on expanding AI education capacity and NAIRR Pilot resource utilization at R2 and master’s-level institutions. Throughput Computing Week 2026 (HTC26) — June 9–12 at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Fluno Center. For the fourth year running, HTC26 brings together the throughput computing community to share challenges, advances, and opportunities. This year’s focus includes the challenges of AI (agentic AI, AI facilitation, AI-driven research best practices), multi-messenger astrophysics computing, facilitation for HTC, and dedicated CC* campus breakout sessions on Wednesday, June 10. Internet2 CLASS Secure Research Environments Series — June 2 and June 16. Continuing the Design phase of this multi-part series on cloud-based secure research environments, the June 2 workshop (1–3 p.m. ET) covers Google Cloud architecture patterns for creating NIST- and HIPAA-compliant “Data Clean Rooms,” while the June 16 session features Kion’s approach to secure research environments. ACCESS and NAIRR Pilot Office Hours — Every second Tuesday (June 9), 3–4 PM ET; every fourth Wednesday (June 24), 12–1 PM ET. Hosted by SCIPE Cyberinfrastructure Professionals (CIPs) and ACCESS resource providers. Sessions cover allocations and proposal submission, active NAIRR Pilot awards, ACCESS MATCH submissions, and resource usage and support. Register.

Application Deadlines and Upcoming Opportunities
PEARC26 — July 26–30 in Minneapolis, MN. Registration is now open for the ACM Practice and Experience in Advanced Research Computing conference, themed “Resilient Roots, Empowered Communities.” PEARC26 marks the 10th anniversary of the conference series and will feature a full student program, First-Time Attendee orientation, an offsite social at the Mill City Museum, and co-located workshops including RCD Nexus Day.
