Events and Conferences
SDSC HPC and Data Science Summer Institute — August 3–7 at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. This week-long, in-person workshop covers a broad range of introductory-to-intermediate topics in HPC, data science, and AI, with hands-on tutorials on SDSC’s Expanse supercomputer and one-on-one time with SDSC experts. The program is aimed at researchers and educators, especially those in domains not traditionally engaged in supercomputing. TACC Applied Parallel Programming — August 3–7 in Austin, TX. A week-long, in-person institute at the Texas Advanced Computing Center covering parallel computing fundamentals, CUDA programming, beginner and intermediate MPI, MPI with containers, and other HPC tools, with hands-on labs on TACC systems. Application Deadlines and Upcoming Opportunities
NERSC 2026 Call for AI for Science Proposals — Proposals accepted on a rolling basis. Up to 10,000 GPU node hours per project on the Perlmutter system. Proposals will continue to be reviewed until all GPU resources are awarded. Submit a proposal.
