CaRCC Transitional Board Members Reelected to Three-Year Terms

The CaRCC Chairs are pleased to announce that all three incumbent members of the CaRCC Transitional Board have been reelected to new three-year terms, beginning March 1, 2026.

Bob Freeman, Harvard University (left), Jason Simms, Swarthmore College (middle), and James Wilgenbusch, University of Minnesota (right) were selected by CaRCC Chairs to continue serving on the board. The three were originally elected to one-year terms to establish the foundation for an ongoing staggered three-year election cycle — a structure designed to ensure continuity of leadership as CaRCC evolves as an organization.

Their reelection comes at a pivotal moment, as CaRCC works toward incorporation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The board’s continued institutional knowledge and commitment will be essential to navigating that transition successfully.

Congratulations to our three incumbents and thank you for your continued service to CaRCC!
