PEARC26 — July 26–30 in Minneapolis, MN. The ACM Practice and Experience in Advanced Research Computing conference, themed “Resilient Roots, Empowered Communities,” marks the 10th anniversary of the PEARC series. The full conference program — including technical sessions, panels, plenaries, workshops, and tutorials — runs July 27–30 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, with a student program beginning July 24. Conference highlights include an offsite social at the Mill City Museum and a first-time attendee orientation. Register now.

Internet2 CLASS Container Orchestration for Higher Education — July 21, 12–4 p.m. ET. A four-hour virtual workshop on containerizing enterprise applications for higher education environments. Participants will learn to set up and manage a containerized application catalog with a user interface, and will cover containerization fundamentals, multi-container orchestration with Docker Compose, and what it takes to containerize and deploy enterprise-scale applications. Internet2 CLASS Container Orchestration for Research Workflows — July 17, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. ET. A four-hour virtual workshop covering how to set up and manage a containerized research workflow with Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) features and a user interface for viewing and analyzing outputs. Topics include containerization fundamentals, ELT processes, and building intuitive interfaces for research end users. ACCESS and NAIRR Pilot Office Hours — Every second Tuesday (July 8), 3–4 PM ET; every fourth Wednesday (July 22), 12–1 PM ET. Hosted by SCIPE Cyberinfrastructure Professionals (CIPs) and ACCESS resource providers. Sessions address allocation and proposal questions, active NAIRR Pilot awards, ACCESS MATCH submissions, and resource usage and support. Register.
Open OnDemand Tips & Tricks — Thursday, July 3, 1–2 PM ET. Monthly community-hosted call for practical tips on using this web-based platform. First Thursday of every month, ideal for new and experienced users. Register.

Application Deadlines and Upcoming Opportunities
NERSC 2026 Call for AI for Science Proposals — Proposals accepted on a rolling basis. Up to 10,000 GPU node hours per project on the Perlmutter system. Proposals will continue to be reviewed until all GPU resources are awarded. Submit a proposal.
SDSC HPC and Data Science Summer Institute — August 3–7 at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. A week-long in-person workshop for researchers and educators covering introductory-to-intermediate topics in HPC, data science, and AI, with hands-on tutorials on SDSC’s Expanse supercomputer and opportunities for one-on-one sessions with SDSC experts.
