- The NAIRR Pilot has new start-up allocations available. Based on feedback from the research community, the NAIRR Pilot is now offering rapid approval start-up allocations. Recipients must be ready to begin using the allocated resource within two weeks of receiving the award.
- NSF CloudBank 2: Accelerating Science and Engineering Research in the Commercial Cloud. Expands the portfolio of NSF OAC-supported resources by providing access to a broad range of commercial cloud computing resources. NSF CloudBank 2 introduces new capabilities, including advanced accelerators and quantum computing platforms and will be accessible to researchers through the NSF Advanced CyberInfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services and Support program.

- Neocortex Office Hours Offered weekly on Wednesdays (July 2, 9, 23 & 30) at 2-3pm EDT – Curious how to harness the unique architecture of Neocortex, featuring two Cerebras CS systems and an HPE Superdome Flex server? Neocortex Office Hours provide a space to connect with experts and unlock the full potential of this AI supercomputer hosted at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center.
- Open on Demand Tips and Tricks Call Thursday, July 3 at 1-2pm EDT Monthly community-hosted call to learn practical tips for using this powerful, web-based platform that gives you seamless access to HPC resources—no software needed.
- Anvil Support Hour Offered weekly on Thursdays (July 3, 10, 24 & 31) at 2-3pm EDT When you need support from the Anvil team for a complex workflow, or want to discuss your ideas directly with our team, please consider registering for Anvil Support Hour!
- NAIRR Pilot Office Hours Offered Tuesdays, July 8 & 22 at 3-4pm EDT Office Hours are hosted by SCIPE Cyberinfrastructure Professionals (CIPs) and are regularly attended by members of the Pilot operations teams and Pilot partners. We are happy to answer questions related to proposal submission and active NAIRR Pilot awards.

- ACES Community Meeting and Workshop Friday-Sunday July 18-20 Join Texas A&M High Performance Research Computing (HPRC) in Columbus, OH and learn how the ACES (Accelerating Computing for Emerging Sciences) testbed complements the National Science Foundation’s portfolio of advanced cyberinfrastructure (CI) resources and services. This is a pre-conference workshop, ahead of the Practice & Experience in Advanced Research Computing (PEARC25) conference.
- PEARC25 Workshop: Synergy Between AI-Readiness and FAIR Principles Monday, July 21 at 1:30-5pm The goal of this PEARC25 workshop is to discuss the synergy between making data AI-ready and the implementation of FAIR principles. The target audience for this workshop consists of disciplinary researchers and educators, as well as infrastructure developers with an active interest in machine learning and data science.
- PEARC25 Workshop: Campus Champions and NAIRR, Empowering AI Research Facilitation Through Collaboration Monday, July 21 at 1:30-5pm A recent EAGER grant from the National Science Foundation enables Campus Champions to partner with the NAIRR Pilot, including this workshop at PEARC25. We propose a half-day workshop that empowers attendees to facilitate AI research by sharing opportunities through the Campus Champions and spreading awareness of the NAIRR Pilot’s resources. The target audience includes active Campus Champions, new Campus Champions, those interested in the Campus Champions and our collaborative community, and those interested in learning how to facilitate AI research through NAIRR, all of which are relevant to PEARC’s research computing and data professional attendees.
