The Quantum Computing Interest Group (QCIG) exists to advance discovery, innovation, and workforce development through the thoughtful discussion of quantum computing technologies as they become increasingly integrated into the broad landscape of scientific and research computing. The group aims to cultivate a proactive, strong and collaborative community group that supports the responsible, impactful integration of quantum technologies into this landscape.

The interest group marked its inaugural year in 2026, is embarking on meetings, and is encouraging interested members of the community to join us.
Getting Involved
We are looking for RCD folks in the community who are quantum curious and want to participate in the development and understanding of how quantum computing will integrate into our varied research interests.
