All Things AI February 2025

  1. Workshop: AI Unlocked: Empowering Higher Education through Research and Discovery April 2-3, 2025. Designed for individuals across all disciplines and career stages in higher education, workshop provides access to cutting-edge computational resources and expertise to researchers, students, faculty, and practitioners. Hosted by the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) Pilot User Experience Working Group, this event introduces AI fundamentals, hands-on experience with pre-configured AI tasks, and guidance for tailoring AI models to your projects. Many NAIRR Pilot resource providers will also attend to help you, and your teams better utilize your allocations through 1:1 meetings and support. We will also feature two 1-hr sessions by Industry resource providers for an advanced track on AI tools.  Travel support is available for selected participants to the Westin Denver Downtown, and virtual attendance options are also offered.   2. New AI-related Videos from the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) CNI is a joint project of EDUCAUSE and the Association of Research Libraries. Videos from CNI’s most recent meetings are available from the meeting website and on the now openly available from the meeting website and on CNI’s YouTube and Vimeo channels. AI figured prominently in several presentations.
