Expertise and resource sharing

Description: This committee lead the effort to create models for expertise and resource sharing between institutions. After evaluating the community survey responses, the focus was on human resource sharing for roles beyond facilitators, i.e. system administration, systems engineering, advanced networking, data management and storage, virtualization, etc. However, physical resource sharing was also be discussed. A subset of survey respondents thought physical resource sharing was easy, but other organizations are exploring these issues, so this working group has retired to support efforts elsewhere.
