Supporting research core facilities and centers can be challenging for research computing and data (RCD) professionals. This May panel will explore why cores often fall outside standard IT/RCD support models and how to reduce cybersecurity risk when legacy systems are required. Panelists will share service models and maturity levels, and discuss common issues such as data management, fragmented environments, lab safety, network security, and unclear support lines. Join us to learn, ask questions, and share experiences.
