This working group provides ongoing development and community support for the Capabilities Model and associated resources. The Capabilities Model allows institutions to assess their support for computationally- and data-intensive research and education, to identify and prioritize potential areas for improvement, and to understand understand how the broader community views Research Computing and Data support.

Current work
The working group is reviewing input from our summer 2025 workshop, and conducting an in-depth review of the current capabilities prose, identifying candidates for combination or removal, as well as suggested additions to address contemporary and emerging topics.
